Campus Master Plan

The LCDS Campus Master Plan involves four phases:

• Phase One – This project, primarily on the Hamilton Road side of the campus, will upgrade the Middle and Upper School, Dining Commons, administrative offices, technology centers and support spaces. The Lower School library and science labs will also be moved into it's own newly renovated space in addition to a multi-purpose room below the current Library. Parking spaces will also be added to the School's existing lots on the northwest corner of the campus.
• Phase completed in April, 2006
• Phase Two – This project consists of a complete renovation of the existing Lower School wing with a modest addition at the southeast corner of the building to accommodate expanded classrooms and support spaces.
• Phase Three – The project will enlarge the John Frederick Steinman Theatre, replace backstage and support spaces, and will provide new chorus rooms, new ensemble rooms and a dance studio. It will also slightly renovate the existing upper level art rooms and add an art gallery.
• Phase Four – We will add new athletic spaces to the west of the Parents' Field house, including locker rooms and restrooms, training and fitness facilities, meeting rooms, and athletic staff offices. We will also create a new building on the athletic fields with restrooms, concession facilities, and storage.
