Believing our main emphasis at LCDS is to educate and help foster balanced and humane students, we in the arts stand firm in our conviction that the ARTS are essential for this to happen.

Lancaster Country Day School offers all of our students – from preschool-12th grade – a variety of ways to express themselves and exercise their creative intelligence. The Arts are celebrated and explored through four disciplines; music, visual art, theater, and dance. Students are free to explore all the disciplines or specialize, and study in depth. Beyond the studio and classroom students are introduced to professional artists working in the field, they participate in competitions and regularly exhibit and perform their work.
